What is the Nagireo Tarot project?
NagiReo Tarot is a safe-for-work, digital art collaboration to create a NagiReo themed tarot deck. Each creator will contribute artwork that fits the theme of their assigned card in the Major Arcana deck.
How will the tarot deck be distributed?
The tarot deck will have both physical and digital releases.The physical product will be a professionally printed tarot deck, available for purchase on our shop online. The digital release will be a free downloadable zine featuring the tarot artwork and artist commentary.
Will there be open applications?
Yes! Anyone who meets the participant criteria and fills out the application will be invited to join.
What roles are you looking for?
Tarot Card Artist - Draw a NagiReo themed tarot card. Accepting all applicants.Artbook Cover Artist - Create the cover for the digital artbook. Accepting one applicant.Card Back Artist - Design the card backs for the tarot deck. Accepting one applicant.
Is there an age requirement for contributors?
Yes, you must be 18+ to apply.
How will tarot cards be assigned to participants?
We will randomly shuffle the names of all applicants. The applicant at the top of the list will receive their most preferred choice, and we will walk down the list to assign a card to each participant according to their listed preference. Reverse cards may be assigned if the number of applicants exceeds 22 (the number of cards in a Major Arcana deck). More details about this process are described on the second page of the Creator Application form.
